I was disappointed when you were talking about the Meri and Christine looking forward towards having a friend in a sister wife as funny because they were naive. You both are looking from a lifetime of monogamy view point. Laughin about it shows a lack of understanding their mindset. In this situation, both women were raised in the polygamy environment. The having a friend in a sister wife was most probably taught to them as something to look forward too. These two women were groomed for this type of relationship since a young child. If Robin did the same thing with Mari as she did Kody …. I know this is a year and a half old but Robin knew about the show before she even met the browns. And Christine had only ever had one miscarriage. It was a high risk pregnancy due to it being a geriatric pregnancy (any pregnancy over 35 is considered geriatric) but it wasn’t just a regular miscarriage she was bleeding so much that she lost consciousness …. This is a perfect example of why miscarriages and even the first day or 2 after giving birth can be so dangerous cause you’re bleeding …. You lose a baby you’re bleeding, postnatal you’re bleeding …. And you basically expect it to be more than a heavy period but because of the that a lot of women wait to get help because they just assume this amount of bleeding is normal and you’d be surprised at how many women go to get help too late and end up passing away from it. That’s why your OB will constantly be checking you or at least having the postpartum nurses checking on you and paying attention to how you’re feeling how you look physically you’re vitals etc because starting to hemorrhage and bleeding out… there’s a very fine line between them. Not only as an adult wife, did I shovel my own walk and driveway, I mowed, cooked, cleaned & took a machete to the monster pig weeds on our tiny farm. My husband worked 6 days a week at an environmental job and my children (all under 5) fed the chickens, ducks, goats and family pets. Sometimes the neighbors had us feed their farm animals when they were out of town. A special PS for Robbem & Greedy: before I was old enough to babysit (we were in elementary school), I had a paper route and a popular snow shoveling business with my little brother. Our dad worked really hard all week and he was an excellent example of making a living and not relying on public assistance. My mom held jobs before our births, and after we were old enough to be in school. Meanwhile she did everything within the house and taught us all how to clean and cook as her little helpers. My family wasn’t perfect, but we were mostly straight A kids and had plenty of time to play and explore, dad took us to sporting events and museums on the weekends to give our mom a break. I don’t know exactly how to say everyone is responsible for themselves and a lot of us had diverse but functional families. We weren’t our parents’ free labor, but were taught how to pitch in and had freedom to make our own decisions, no matter how good or bad, we cheerfully lived with them or switched directions.
